CENTURY 21 Anne Arnold Community Service
About Easter Seals:
Easter Seals UCP has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for more than 85 years. From child development centers to physical rehabilitation and job training for people with disabilities, Easter Seals UCP offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life’s challenges and achieve personal goals.
In 1979, the CENTURY 21® franchise system partnered with Easter Seals, making them their national philanthropy. Since that date, Century 21 nationally has raised over $102 million for the organization.
About CENTURY 21 Anne Arnold and Easter Seals:
Over the past four years, CENTURY 21 Anne Arnold has raised over $27,500 for Easter Seals at their annual fundraiser Bark at the Beach. Additionally, CENTURY 21 Anne Arnold has ranked in the top three in the state for fundraising for every year that this event has taken place. Bark at the Beach, held on Holden Beach Island, is an event that welcomes families to show off their pampered pooches and take a walk along the beautiful scenery of Holden Beach. Families come from near and far to enjoy this event and compete for awards that are given based on specific criteria. Participants are encouraged to take a stroll down the mile long route that has water stations for walkers and dogs and displays sponsors’ “bones” along the way. Additionally, the Brunswick County sheriff’s department gives a demonstration of the K-9 unit, which is always a huge hit. We look forward to Bark at the Beach every year with the local Easter Seal UCP support.
